Interviewed by CNN on 17/04/2011 06:41, Tony Mechelynck told the world: > I'm using SeaMonkey 2.2a1pre, and there might be differences, but I've > noticed recently that some HTML message came up garbled (especially in > email here though). I did. Nothing. Let me clarify again: this does not happen with HTML-formatted e-mail messages. It seems to affect only RSS/Atom feeds in their "summary" form, which is a very barebones HTML-formatted message. > > Another possibility would be a firewall or proxy blocking the images but > I don't think that is it. No, it isn't. It started happening yesterday. I have no proxy to access the Internet, and didn't change anything in my firewall. Also, I created a test profile, and things worked correctly on that. So the problem definitely is in my profile -- some obscure setting or another, or some other form of profile corruption. But I don't seem to be able to find the cause.
