1. Check that your Preference settings are essentially the same for
Thunderbird and SM.
2. Check that your settings under View are not blocking what you post.
3. Check with a friend that when you post they do or do not see what you
posted.
4. Check that it might only be your news server that is not getting the
post.
...and, km, Stan should have mentioned that there is a newsgroup on this
server specifically for doing all this testing, mozilla.test.
Then, when you get yourself sorted, come back here!
