I backed up my seamonkey profile using mozbackup, and installed
seamonkey (2.0.14) on my new computer. Ran it a first time, then
restored the profile from mozbackup. Almost everything came over,
only none of my extensions and none of my themes. The files for the
extensions have been copied but they do not run and they do not show
up in the add on manager. What can I do to activate them?
Just a guess, try deleting the (or backing up away) the extensions.*
files in your profile directory:

Do this while SeaMonkey is shut down, then start again.
But thanks anyway for your suggestion - it pointed the way to the solution.
It seems the Extensions folder in the original profile was NOT backed up by
mozbackup. (I think only some of them were). Luckily the folder still
exists, so I copied all the files manually. Bingo! Seamonkey came up with
all extensions and themes as I had left them on my old computer.
