The improve, is in all aspects, we don't intend to break your experiences/learned habits there where possible. But don't fear I don't see anyone working on *anything* substantial there at the moment anyway.
But there have been lots of web additions/features/etc. added to the Web Platform since Composer was first made, so it does need some updating to stay relevant.
