I have set all threads to be expanded. i.e. view *
When I select the first (head) article of a thread and then press
f (or n) , instead of going to the next article in the thread,
SM goes to the head article of the next thread!
Moreover it collapses the thread which I started to read!
So to read the thread, between each article, I must return
to the message list pane, re-expand the thread, manually
select the next article and only then read it.
Surely there must be an easier way.
I have Messages set as "All", and use Threads as the control of what I
want to see, and it is marked "Unread". This operates for me, as I
think you want to have. It skips to the next message as it should.
If I ever want to see some messages, read on previous days, I change the
Threads setting to all temporarily.
