What about Adobe Reader (not SeaMonkey) preferences? Open Adobe Reader. You do not need a PDF file open; just launch the Reader itself. On the Reader menu bar (not SeaMonkey), go to [Edit > Preferences]. On Adobe's Preferences window, along the left side under Categories, select Internet. Are the first two checkboxes checked?
