Here's how the top of my SeaMonkey 2.2 browser screen looks: http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/6334/seamonkey.jpg As you can see everything (all controls) is on a single toolbar, the Menu Bar. That's exactly the way I want it, and it's very important to me! I have the same layout at top of browser screens in IE6, FF3.6.18, and customized FF5.
There's only a slight problem with the SeaMonkey layout. I would like to drag the left side of the search window to the left slightly, to make it a little wider, but it won't resize. Putting a separator between the address window and search window doesn't help. My other browsers have this drag/resize (sliding) capability. Is there any way to do it in SeaMonkey? [General comments: I'm a newbie with SeaMonkey, still trying to get my sea legs under me. I like the looks and feel, and may consider adopting it as my default browser - partly because I'm not happy with the direction Firefox is taking. But I'll have to play around with the mail/news window for quite awhile to see if my old OE can be replaced. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the address book window all my OE contacts were imported instantly.] Thanks. -- J.Q.P.
