On further testing, I completely agree that there is a bug.  Please
submit your bug report and then post a reply in this thread with the bug
number.

On occasion, I might filter and ignore all newsgroup messages
posted through GoogleGroups via Google's G2/1.0 user agent
because of spam from that source.
