It also deletes contacts in the personal addressbook when you delete

First, did you file a bug on it? Second, do the developers agree that this is a
bug?
A distribution list is a subset of addresses, and if you delete an address from
the address book I think it's correct to delete it from the list. *But* not the
other way around. Just because someone no longer belongs on a list like a task
force or committee, they shouldn't cease to exist!
