Jesse, I'm SM 2.2 on Mandriva Linux 2009.0 with KDE desktop, and cannot say I've experienced any of the probs you speak about. Just this evening, I've dropped a couple of e-mails from my inbox into other boxes at the same level as the inbox. But, then again, that was as soon as I opened SM!
