[Mozilla addons site targeted in same attack that hit Google]
Anyone know if there is any truth to that?
Yes and no. A fraudulent cert was created for addons.mozilla.org as
well, but it has not been seen in the wild and is as far as we know even
already expired so even invalid by itself. That's true for a number of
additional domain names that thae hacker acquired DigiNotar certs for.
And DigiNotar has acted very unprofessionally in all this, so our only
choice is to distruct all their business (with the exception of
certificates they issued under the Netherlands government root CA, which
the government assures us has different systems and processes and was
not hacked, which they are currently getting checked by another external
company).
