I use several email accounts with SeaMonkey, it would be nice if
you could set a preferred return email address for each person in
your book, some people get my business address some my personal
address & others my spam address. In my old age I forget to check
the return address sometimes before sending this would help with
those senior moments.
What do you think?
Normally, when you reply to someone, their reply back will go to
your From address, which is the account they wrote to in the first
place. No need for an explicit Reply-To address unless you want to
overrule that.
But it's an interesting concept to have a fresh composition window
know that Joe Blow gets mail from your business account and Mary
Contrary gets mail from your personal account. I've made the
mistake of writing from the wrong account more than once, and it
can be embarrassing. I wonder how that could be accomplished.
The concept has already been established in the Address Book by
inserting the "To:" address field. All that should be need is an
additional database field named "Return Address" and have that field
entered into the "From" field of the reply mail, and/or new
message.
I can't find a "To" field in my Address Book. I just tried to edit the
properties of one of my correspondents, and I looked at every field on
every tab, and there's nothing remotely resembling that. I also tried to
create a new record from scratch and couldn't find it. What are you
talking about?
