That's "some folks" problem. Using Seamonkey does not turn me into a fanatic that disregards any other product. I like Seamonkey as a browser, and I like it as an e-mail client. I don't like it as a HTML editor. I use other stuff for that. And since I dislike being tracked all day long, I don't keep my Google account logged on in Seamonkey -- I have a separate browser for that, which I fire up only when needed. Some people might have their own reasons to use another program for newsgroup messaging. They might prefer to keep newsgroups separate from e-mail; they might have a dedicated newsgroup reader that they like better; they might even be using early versions of Seamonkey for testing, and need a separate, _stable_ email/newsgroup client. Some even access via the Web interface at Google Groups. I hope "most folks" (as opposed to "some folks") won't have any problem with an user who happens to prefer using another client to access the groups. We keep having users here who ask how to use Seamonkey *without* the mail client (which I, personally, find a bit odd, since if you take out the mail client you are probably better off with Firefox anyway), but they aren't made fun off. Each user has their own needs and preferences. Liking another product is not a sin. We are not a cult. -- MCBastos This message has been protected with the 2ROT13 algorithm.
