In my bookmarks, I've inserted comments on which bookmarked Web sites

You know what would be better? With an addon/extension, we assign
specific user agents for specific web sites instead of manually doing it.

Useful posts by KaiRo that I share in principle, but however
unfortunately have not paned out as possible solution(s) due to the way
internal Gecko Works.

Since 2007? Is Gecko really the culprit/issue?

Well yes, it is. Manpower devoted to adjusting the codebase could solve the issue. Anything is possible with time in software, its just a matter of devoting the time to that over other things. And at least myself and KaiRo have been quite busy in other things that are more important uses of our time.
