Speaking of user agents (UAs) for v2.0.14 web browser, which Firefox
user agent is it supposed to be matching with? V3.6.18 or can v3.6.22 be
safely used since I remember SM2.0.14 and Firefox v3.6.xx had the same
Geck version engine? Currently, I have "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows
NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.18) Gecko/20110614 Firefox/3.6.18" in my UA list.

Thank you in advance. :)

Hi!

I noticed a few SM users, who are still using v2.0.x, permanently change
their user agents to Firefox v3.x. Do you do that too?

I only do it temporarily on problematic web sites like on
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/media/screenshots/screenshot-of-the-day/cataclysm?view

with PrefBar extension.

I know SM v2.1+ uses Firefox by default which was interesting. I wonder
if I can make SM v2.0.14's UA to Firefox v3.6.22 permanently without any
problems.

Thank you in advance. :)

Ant, when I was using SM 2.0.x, I just used the word "Firefox" in my UA, I found that was enough to fool the websites that look at the UA.

Try, in the address bar, "about:config", then in the filter bar enter "useragent", click on the screen somewhere, select "New"->"String" and call it something like "general.useragent.extra.seamonkey.firefox" and give it a value of "not firefox" and you can give it a version number if you want.
