This is really rather more of an HTML question than a Seamonkey one, but since I use only Seamonkey for development it is clearly important that the solution is supported by Seamonkey. What I am looking for is an attribute to <IMG> (and possibly, but far less likely, to other tags) the value of which will be disclosed to the consumer by a tool-tip-like pop-up when the user mouses over the image (or whatever). "title" appears to have the desired effect (in Seamonkey, at least) but this behaviour doesn't seem to be mandated by the normative versions of the specification (HTML 4.01), although it is described in the non-normative part -- do others know how widely this behaviour is supported, and is it therefore reasonably safe to rely on it ?
