I am being pestered by Seamonkey Central to update to V2.4; from
discussions on this list, I know that I do not want to, and prefer to
wait for the bug fixes in V2.5 Yet there is no option on the
"Software Update" pop-up to "Don't remind me again" : the only two
options offered are "Ask Later" and "Update Seamonkey". Could we
please have have "Don't remind me again" (until a new version is
released) added to this set ?

Easy peasy.

Uncheck the box where it says SM should check for updates to itself
(lower half of the panel). If it stops checking, then logically it
will have to stop nagging.

You overlooked the key element, Paul : I want to be
notified when the /next/ release is available, not
the current one.

I'm confused (and easily so!). Availability of new releases is regularly posted on this newsgroup, where you are a frequent visitor. What am I missing?
