It was entirely my error, I had it confused with "next". But one other
question- I have the flag throbber in mail but just the regular netscape
one in the browser. Is there any way to have the flag in both?

The flag throbber takes up a large amount of vertical space so it is only displayed when you have the Customize "Use Small Icons" box unchecked. The downside is that in that mode, button text is not display (although, the hover-over button label does display the button name.)

Also, the alternate throbber should not be a Netscape one but, rather, the Mozilla throbber that originally came with that theme.
