Running version 3.4.8,
We have a large group of users that need to be cc'ed on project defects.
In the current version, one must individually pick out each person from the cc
list in the defect.
This is very time consuming and frustrating our defect submitters.
One solution might be to have an outlook email list created and add that as a
user to the system.
Then, instead of picking out users one by one, the submitter would enter in the
email distribution name.
The downside of this is we have a lot of projects and to create a distribution
requires a submittal to the
IT depart.
Would prefer a way to handle this in bugzilla.

Have you tried the Mozilla add on called "Mail Merge" ?
It is for SeaMonkey and Thunderbird , but might work for Bugzilla.
You could ask the creator of this package.
It allows building of mailing lists in CSV form and then I think that
it sends individual emails to each person on the list.
