You apparently have not tried what I suggest. Go ahead, do it & then let
us know how it works for you. I've no problems with the newsgroup
*after* loading 500 or so messages. It's only when you try to load all
msgs, or more than 1,000 msgs for the newsgroup that you run into
issues. Also, afterwards you'll find multiple dead msgs dated 12/31/1969
with 0 (zero) bytes/lines in them.

Click on one and you'll get:

Error!
newsgroup server responded:no such article in group

Perhaps the article has expired
