Am I going mad, or has the behaviour of Seamonkey changed
w.r.t. 2.4.1 or 2.5 ? I am certain that I used to be able
to see, in my sent items, the Bcc list that I had used
to route confidential copies of messages, but now that
I am using 2.5, I can longer find (worse : can no longer
prove) to whom a message was Bcc'd. Is this a change
(and if so, why), or am I simply going crazy ?

Not sure what you mean by "Bcc list" but if I expand the Subject line
im my sent mail it shows the Subject: From: Date: To: and Bcc: lines
just like I sent them. I don't have any Bcc'ed to a list, but if I
Bcc to a address I see it in sent mail. SeaMonkey 2.5
Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:8.0.1)
Gecko/20111121 Firefox/8.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.5
