This morning I opened the mail client using the menu item Window/ Mail&Newsgroups, and it started the New Account Setup Wizard. Six months of emails over three separate accounts are gone.
I've looked for prefs.js and ********.slt (found neither). Windows 7 hides things differently. I do have backups from a week ago, but restoring C:\Users\(myname) \AppData\Local\Mozilla\SeaMonkey doesn't bring the emails back. (Also tried Roaming. Also tried the entire Mozilla directory.)
