According to
<http://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/seamonkey2.1/#new>, one of
the new features implemented for SeaMonkey 2.1 was the option to remove
Flash cookies. This option is selected by going to [Edit > Preferences
> Privacy & Security]. The Privacy & Security pane has a set of
checkboxes for selecting private data to remove, with another checkbox
to do the removal when SeaMonkey terminates. Among the checkboxes is
one for cookies. When that checkbox is check, not only are Web cookies
removed but (starting with 2.1) Flash cookies are also removed.

This raises interesting questions. Web cookies are stored in the user's
profile in cookies.sqlite. I have four profiles, each with different
preferences for how Web cookies are handled. The option to delete
cookies is profile-specific. Flash cookies are stored in a directory
unrelated to profiles; that is, they are stored together without regard
for which profile was in use when a cookie was set.

Which profile is used to determine whether or not to remove Flash cookies?

Among the Flash cookies is one that specifies my Flash options,
including a number of privacy options (e.g., denying a Web site access
to my PC's microphone), trust settings, and update options.

How can I protect the cookie that specifies my Flash options while also
allowing removal of other Flash cookies?

Is there a way to specify the removal of Web cookies while not remoing
any Flash cookies?
