Two SeaMonkeys back (a 2.6..), I had a Google search button on the line

Did you try right clicking on a blank space in that area and choosing
Customize and then drag the search bar back to where you had it before? It
sounds like your SM theme maybe doesn't work exactly right with the latest
version of SM if the search bar was there in earlier versions but now is
not. Maybe we are talking about different things though as the Search bar is
not a "button" but a bar that can be adjusted in length.
