"XUL Runner" Error?

Does anyone have help for the "XUL Runner" error message ("Can't read 
application .ini") which occurs after trying to update SM preventing it 
from launching?  This has happened to me every time I have tried 
updating since Ver. 2.5.  I've seen others post about this problem too, 
but I have not yet seen an answer to it.
