Yeah I did that for now. But the wait cursor has a legitimate purpose to
show a page is still loading so that functionality is now gone. But at
least the visible annoyance is gone while reading my newsgroups. I
eagerly await the bug fix.

Kent, nine times (or more) out of ten, if the screen is not showing the web page you are expecting, it's because SM is still downloading stuff. This activity should also show in the bottom line of the screen!

So, you can either put up with the cursor being wrong when you have it in the "wrong" part of the screen when your not downloading stuff or you can have the cursor wrong when you are downloading stuff and have to look at the bottom line to check for activity!!

Me? I don't care, one way or the other!
