It's implicit in the way it's phrased. If you go there with the latest
version of Firefox or Opera and Google tells you "change to a modern
browser to see what this can do", it implies that the browser you are
using to visit is "not modern," and that there are features that won't
be available because you are using such a "non-modern" browser as
Firefox 12 or Opera 11.64.

Since this phrasing shows up for every browser except Chrome, they are
implicitly saying theirs is the only "modern" browser. This is way more
aggressive and, frankly, insulting than their usual claims of being
"faster" (Which is actually a defensible claim, since in many benchmarks
Chrome is faster than its competition. They no longer claim Chrome to be
"leaner" than Firefox, though, because it isn't anymore.)
