Educating users about what part of this monstrosity called "Address" is actually important in terms of making sure you are visiting what you think you are visiting. https://www.paypal.com.cgi-bin.webscr.cmd.login-run.evil.com (yes, I have seen such addresses in actual spam mail) and https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_login-run are completely different sites owned by different entities. Many people won't make out the difference unless you display them differently. Making "evil.com" stand out in one example and "paypal.com" in the other is something that can help there.
