Restart with add-on disabled: Help|Restart With Addons Disabled
and see if it works then. If so enable your addons 1 by 1 until you find
the one creating the problem.

Just yesterday my wife brought me her Win7 notebook and complained that
she couldn't see the flash section & images on bigfishgames.com (using
Firefox 13). I could get it to appear properly on the notebook with IE,
SeaMonkey, and Chrome. So I restarted with addons disabled & it turns
out that (yet again) something she had downloaded and installed also
installed (what I consider to be) a malware toolbar: qwiklinx. Disabling
the toolbar fixed the problem.
Out of curiosity, I left the program installed (it puts a directory in
the firefox directory - qwiklinx) and reinstalled Firefox. Of course the
toolbar addon remained persistent. The only was to get rid of it was to
delete the quiklinx directory, uninstall from Programs, and go through
the register & rip out traces of it there.

So, even if you reinstall: 1) your profile remains intact, and 2) a
malware toolbar (or similar) will remain as well.

The next step after restarting with addon disabled still not working, is
to create a new test profile and try with that. Tools|Switch Profiles -
create new 'Test' profile and restart in that new clean profile. Install
_only_ Flash & try again.
