I'm using SeaMonkey v2.10.1 on a Windows XP Pro SP3 system, but this is
an issue I've been seeing with the last several versions.

I'll double-click on the first unread email in my inbox. After reading
it, I may click delete, or move it to a sub-folder in my inbox. Then I
go on to succeeding messages and do the same.

The problem is that on some messages, neither DELETE nor MOVE works. If
I close the message window and double-click it again from the inbox,
then I can delete or move it.

I haven't been able to identify a definite pattern of which messages
exhibit this problem, but I don't think it happens on the first message,
and it seems to happen very often on the second message. If there are
more than about half a dozen unread messages to go through, sometimes it
happens more than once.

Is anyone else seeing this? Is there a workaround? Thanks!

I'm not seeing this, but I'm wondering why you take the extra step of
double-clicking. Why not just view messages in the message pane? Then
you can either use the Del key or click and drag to the desired folder.

I like the larger message window I get when I double-click on the message in the inbox.
