BTW, I had a strange experience this evening: I was away from the
computer for a few hours, and when I returned, there was a dialog box
titled, "Software Update," but it was blank. I've seen this a couple of
times before. Since there was no content -- no explanation, no option to
accept or decline -- I dismissed it.
I get that all the time with any version of SeaMonkey since version 2
you be reading a Thread and all of sudden a thread/reply will be blank.
Even happens in newsgroups.
Not a mail/news message, a popup dialog box, as I said. Normally it
would contain a message advising that an update was available, and a
couple of buttons to accept or remind me later or something. This one
was blank except for the title bar.
