I have been usining Seamonkey since the first beta release. I used it's predisesor Mozzila and before that Netscape. I am currently on Seamonkey version 2.10 on Windows XP SP3. Ever since 2.06 every Seamonkey release Blows out my Email settings and I lose all my email. I must recreate the email account from scratch just as if I never had Seamonkey installed and thus installed it for the very first time. I never have had this problem before. Now it's every release that happens.

After the update finishes the browser restarts goes to the seamonkey home page. I check my email which is there at that time and click on a message then seamonkey pauses and then closes it's self and when I restart it and check my email the email account needs setup like new and all my messages are gone. I have lost email that is priceless to me. Instead me ME doing some like uploading my email and or backing it up, how about you FIXING THE PROBLEM THAT YOU CREATED!!!!!!

I have lost all my email that I have saved from a previous ISP dating back 7 years. There is a setting in Seamonkey that allows you to either delete or not delete the meesages at the ISP site when you delete them from Seamonkey so with Comcast I can retreieve the last 30 days however, I must wait about 30 minutes for them to download and the maticuously go through each one and delete all unwanted email YET AGAIN!!!!

NEEDLEES to say I find this to be *irresponsible* bullshit!!!!! I can't be the only one who unfortunitly experences this!!!!

Not only do I want you to fix this problem permenetly I want a proper response to this email.

Until you fix it I suggest that you TURN OFF automatic Updates since I have absolutly no desire to have my email blown out again!!!

Sincerly,

Mike Finnegan
