I have been on the beta channel for Seamonkey since I cannot even
remember. Today a new beta was automatically installed, but it would not
run correctly - did not ask for master password, and did not load any
web pages or log on to my email provider. So I downloaded the previous
official version (2.11) and installed it over the existing installation.
Now all my addons (and I had quite a few!) are GONE. Please help me
restore my add-ons, I am totally lost without them. How do I find them
again? I can't believe they are totally lost?
If you open the Add-ons manager, then select the extensions panel, are
then
not listed, or are they just disabled?
None are listed, and the add-ons manager informs me I have NO extensions
installed.
1. Go to Help-->Troubleshooting_Information.
2. Click on [Open Containing Folder]. That should open your profile
folder in a Windows Explorer window.
3. Close SeaMonkey.
In your profile folder, go to the \extensions\ folder. Are there folders
for each extension you had installed? If so, go back up one level, and
delete the files:
extensions.ini
extensions.rdf
extensions.sqlite
