The following attachments have been removed from the bounce message:

Common reasons for a 5.1.1 error are either (a)the email account does
not exist at the organization to which the message was sent, or (b) the
message was sent to an obsolete personal address book entry. Summary: a
(probably) incorrect or obsolete address.

I have occasionally had messages bounce from aol, but the usual reason
is that someone has sent a load of spam using an address from my ISP. We
all get frozen out of aol, but that usually clears up within a day or so.

Hope this might help.
Larry

i can still send e'mail to my old aol address even though i closed it years ago... but i've never gotten an error or bounced back message... folks call me and ask why i'm not answering their e'mail and they are usually still using that aol black hole account...

so i was surprised to get a bounce off of someone else's aol...

thanks
