Yes Ed.
My email is
SBCGLOBAL.NET
Then Yahoo bought it
Then AT&T bought Yahoo.
Dave
not sure it should affect my condition tho'......
the mail is coming to the ipad (two of them) and now an iphone, but
intermittently to SeaMonkey on the laptop.
Thanks!

Hi, Ed Thanks for replying.
The email is [email protected]
I checked my ipad settings:
Here is how I get there:
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Dave's mail>Yahoo! Account>Outgoing
SMTP Server: SMTP...Yahoo!SMTP Server> Primary Server: Yahoo SMTP
Server: On> and these are greyed out, not adjustable:
Here is what the settings are:
Server ON; Host name Yahoo! SMTP Server; User Name Optional; Password
Optional; Use SSL ON; Authentication I cannot access, greyed out;
Server Port 465.
I do not see the incoming Mail Settings anywhere.

The email client portion of Seamonkey will not load mail (ATT/Yahoo;
USA) unless I sign out and then in once again, to my email webpage:

I had a guy from ATT spend an hour going through my SM settings
remotely
and he could not get it to work either.
Once I am signed in, the mail starts popping into the Inbox of SM.
As soon as I log off the page above, no mail in or out.
I can load mail onto my ipad just fine but not onto SM.
Have you compared the email account settings on SeaMonkey and the
iPad? Perhaps something is different.
Also, I came across this:
http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB401570&cv=804,902&title=Email+server+settings+%28POP+and+SMTP%29#fbid=e6xQDjJS5nC
or

Don't know if that might help.
Also, what exactly is the email address form? [email protected]? Or
something else?
I am very confused. You have an sbcglobal email address and the
discussion has all been about Yahoo and AT&T. I know acqusitions have
occured but I'm stymied by the URLs of your email address, servers etc.
