I just installed Seamonkey, after years using Firefox for internet and
my webmail.
When I installed it, I was asked to give remarks (but now I don't see
this again).
Here are my remarks: (sorry for my English because I use the programm in
my own Dutch language):
- good program!
- please add possibility for more tab's when using internet browser so
that you can use more than one internetsite in the internetbrowser (as
is possible in Firefox)
- Preferences are not on the right place and not consequent:
Not consequent:
- in the email 'browser' you'll find the settings by 'Edit' and by
de Internet browser you'll find it by Extra.
- By the internet browser you find the settings for both the
internet browser and the email settings; bij the emailbrowser you only
find the settings for the mail.
My advice:
- always use the preferences by Extra where it belongs.
- use the same list for settings as is used by the internet browser
(settings for internet browser and for email browser: the complete list
with preferences)
Well, it is the same way with these settings as was used in 'good all
Netscape' which I used for years (till version 7.0). This can be better.
Further on:
- Use a 'close' icon when you close only a window instead of the whole
programm
- May be it is better to also (!) use some icons for the 5 possibilities
(internetbrowser, emailbrowser, composer, adres, IRC chat)?
