The Buffalo News just changed their website and Seamonkey is having
trouble with it. Go to http://www.buffalonews.com/ and load the site.
It loads for about 3 seconds, starts to come up and then goes to some
white twitter screen. It works fine with Internet Explorer. Can some one
help please. Thank you
Bernie

It was very slow loading for me this morning in Firefox, and just now in
SeaMonkey 2.11, but displays properly for me.

Just tried SeaMonkey in Safe Mode, and it loads even slower if that is
possible.

I noticed the status bar shows "waiting for bxslider.com", and not
buffalonews.com.

I don't think it is SeaMonkey.

Just tried it with Internet Explorer and it loads properly. I did notice
1 thing. The main page is about 8 pages deep from the top to bottom.
Takes a lot of scrolling to get from top to bottom of main page. Maybe
Seamonkey can't handle that or maybe there is a preference I can change.

I hadn't noticed that, but I'll check tomorrow when I see what's
happening in my old home town. Go Bills!

I blame the slowness on the favicon, which was non-existent previously. ;)

I don't think it is a setting you can change. It loads slow in Firefox.
You could try clearing cookies for the site, and see if that helps.

I think we should send some feedback to the BN. I'm sure if it is slow
for everyone, they will hear about it.

Cleaned out all cookies for site. Seamonkey crashed twice doing that. But now Buffalonews.com loads properly. Took over 30 seconds for full site to load. That is pretty bad. Thanks for the tip. I had cleared out the cache, but forgot about the cookies.
