Uhhh... while 500 Mb is undoubtedly a big threshold for compacting
folders, and yes, if it still asks for compacting there might be
something wrong...

...I very much doubt that it's bigger than your hard drive. Even
cellphones have more storage capacity than that nowadays. I think you
are confusing _mega_bytes with _giga_bytes.
