Except for DOM Inspector, I have the same extensions that you have,

that you use Add-ons Manager to disable DOM Inspector and test to see
if you still have the problem.
If the problem still appears, try running SeaMonkey in Safe Mode,
which temporarily disables all extensions.
In the end, the problem might be in the way SeaMonkey interfaces
with your version of Windows (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64). I'm using
Windows XP SP3 (Windows NT 5.1).
That thought crossed my mind, especially with all the discussion here
about the Flash bug.
As it happens, disabling all extensions did solve the problem, and
adding them back one at a time proved that AdBlockPlus was the guilty
party. Something about how it interacts with the MTV site -- and several
others, I might add -- is not right.
Adding a custom filter on
http://www.mtv.com/sitewide/scripts/mtv.jhtml*
solved the problem -- the page came up instantly with no nags.
