And I use the same profile for my Linux x64_86 version of SM.
When l was looking at my profile last night (as related in the thread
"Extra folders in Cache"), I noticed several others folders there!
Folders such as:-
jumpListCache
mozilla-media-cache
OfflineCache
startupCache
weave
minidumps
Do I need these folders or can I delete them with-out effecting the
operation of either version of SM??
Additionally, I see a folder in the profile called "bookmarkbackups"
which, currently, contains json files dated, daily (almost), from 29th
Sept 2012 through to 11 Oct 2012. All named like
"bookmarks-2012-09-29.json. Coincidently, their sizes have increased,
slightly, daily, from 116KB to 119KB. I don't think I've added any
bookmarks recently.
*Note:-* I do have the CheckPlaces extension installed, if it matters,
but as I've had this installed for a long while, I don't think so.
What are these for, how do I stop them continuing to be created, and can
I delete most of them???
