I should have said I'm trying to use it on Mozilla 1.7.8. Ya I know, but I only use it to keep track of my bookmarks.

This is about a program that was called Password Manager and collected all of you User Names and Paswords and made a file out of them.

Password Manager is a component inherent in SeaMonkey. It's still there.

Either:

1. Go to [Tools > Data Manager] on the SeaMonkey menu bar. Enter your
master password if requested. At the top-left where it might say "All
data types", left-click and select "Passwords only".

or

2. Go to [Edit > Preferences] on the SeaMonkey menu bar. On the left
side under Category, select [Privacy & Security > Passwords]. On the
Passwords pane, select the "Manage Stored Passwords" button, entering
your master password if requested.

Unfortunately, you can view the user IDs and passwords for only one
domain at a time. For each domain (even for only one), you must again
enter your master password if you want to see the actual passwords and
not merely the user IDs.

If you want to view all domains at once, see bug #664574 at
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=664574>, especially
comment #6.
