I have more than one spell-checker installed in Seamonkey, both US and
GB English, and I have no problems with that in the mail client.

However, when I'm working in web forms, the spell-checker defaults to GB
English (and I normally want American spellings), and I'm not finding a
place where I can change the spell-checker being used, whether an
immediate change, or the overall default.

Can anybody tell me where to find how to adjust that setting?

Edit/Preferences/Appearance/Spelling/General/Language, I suppose?

That one is already set. For some reason, I'm getting the non-preferred language, when actually spell-checking.

In the meantime, I reexamined the context menu, and found that I can do an on-the-fly selection of which dictionary is being used. Thus, if I can switch to the spell-checker that I want, then that's what I need.

Thanks for the feedback.

Smith.
