Interviewed by CNN on 17/12/2012 12:12, [email protected] told the world: > Can't believe I did this, but I removed a mail account from my Monkey Mail > and of course it's gone. Is there any way to recover the lost e-mails? > Probably. I haven't tested this recently, but if I remember well, the actual mail store files on disk (the mbox files) aren't deleted when you remove an account.
Just look into your profile's "mail" folder and check for a subfolder with a suggestive name, and suggestively named files and folders inside it. If you find them, recovering the contents is piece of cake -- mostly a matter of dropping them into an active mail folder (such as the "Local Folders" one). -- MCBastos This message has been protected with the 2ROT13 algorithm.
