System: XP Professional on Dell 530 (4 processors, 4 GB), running SM 2.14.1 with Lightning and Fireform extensions.

I now have 4 peculiar files that I believe SM generated, perhaps when I was trying to save an image:

ahfgcdag. Date Modified 7/29/2012
dfegifbe. Date Modified 12/30/2012
dhcbgaae. Date Modified 12/17/2012
jedefeig. Date Modified 12/17/2012

All have "0 KB" for the Size. None of these three files can be deleted, moved, or renamed. If I attempt it, I get this message:

"Cannot delete: Cannot read from the source file or disk."

And there is also one file with the same name as the second one above, but also with an extension and a 340 KB size, and it is an image:

dfegifbe.jpg

This file can be deleted, moved, and renamed.

Does anyone know what is going on? And how to delete these files that are starting to clutter my favorite folder?

I could make a new folder with a different name and move all the good files to it, but I'm concerned these weird files will continue to occur.
