Over the past year I have been experiencing more problems with SeaMonkey. I live in a semi-rural setting and use CenturyTel and its DSL. SeaMonkey times-out when sending attachments as low as a half meg routinely. I have to use the Yahoo Mail site to send mail with attachments larger than 1 meg. I use Yahoo Mail Plus in order to continue using SeaMonkey.

This past week I have been having more problems.
1) Saying my mail box was full and it couldn't download.
2) Asking to archive
3) The Error: The POP3 mail server (plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com) does not support UIDL or XTND XLST, which are required to implement the ``Leave on Server'', ``Maximum Message Size'' or ``Fetch Headers Only'' options. To download your mail, turn off these options in the Server Settings for your mail server in the Account Settings window.

I can no longer leave mail on the Yahoo server using SeaMonkey. Each new version gives us me problems. This just started in the last week or so. I stayed with SM to be continuous with Netscape Messenger, but I fear it maybe time to move on.

Add to the list that pisses me off the most. In 1 of 5 messages I get a message that the mail can't be sent because of no response or some other message. The typed message just disappears. The message is in the Sent folder. This started last year, but until six months ago, it would give the option to retry. Now, it just disappears.

What are you doing?

Any ideas?

Joe Wright
