Thanks. Will there be a SeaMonkey v2.15.1 with these fixes too?

Hijacking the thread some, I downloaded both Firefox 18.0 and
Firefox 18.0.1 and tried running both of them from the command line and got the error message:

     $ ./firefox
     Couldn't load XRE functions.
     $

Any ideas what is causing this and what I need to do to fix this?

Craig

P.S. I'm glad this doesn't happen with SeaMonkey 2.15.1.

Try using the following method:

Open Terminal and enter following commands:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable
$  sudo apt-get update
$  sudo apt-get install firefox

Cheers
