Can you try downloading a new installer from our website and just
installing fresh, and see if (a) things work doing that, (b) our
next update works for you?
Actually, I already did the update manually three days ago. If the
problem returns with the next update, I'll be back here to explore other
options.
For now, when I do Help | Check for Updates, I get the usual "No Updates
Found" dialog, no complaints or error messages.
