Ken, in its natural state, SM stores your bookmarks as part of a file
called places.sqlite. If you want a bookmarks.html file, you can do this
in your Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks->Manage Bookmarks) by selecting
Tools->Export HTML.
At least it is in Win7 & Linux.
Oops, quite right, forgot that step. Good to see Ken was able to use
your advice.
Can one of the developers tell us what would happen if a user simply
copied places.sqlite from one computer to another? Would that work
(including of course the user's history and other stuff stored there),
or would it create havoc?
