Hi,
Since about a week ago, some e-mails show up incorrectly in my SeaMonkey
(2.16 on Win7 64 bit).
Checking the source for two e-mails, one showing correctly and one
incorrectly, I see no difference regarding content encoding.
They look like this (source):
=======================================
========== Showing correctly ==========
=======================================
...
Content-Type: multipart/related;
boundary="----=_NextPart_000_00B2_01CE1995.6EEB29D0";
type="multipart/alternative"
MIME-Version: 1.0
This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

------=_NextPart_001_00B3_01CE1995.6EEB29D0
Content-Type: text/plain;
charset="Windows-1252"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

The text at the end appears like this in the first message (correct):
The same text appears like this in the second message (incorrect):
In both cases the chosen character encoding for display is Windows-1252,
as specified in the e-mail sources. If I change to UTF-8 for the second
(incorrect) message, the diaplay changes into this:
Worse...
What might be causing this?
Regards,
Kjell
