Heh. Exactly. And it's a free product, so I can't complain about getting my money's worth. And it's open source! Like you, I wonder if Rufus is willing to step up and help out, or if Ray_Net is personally helping to create a "more perfect product." Me, I don't have the talent or the time to fix the crossposting issue that I would like to see fixed. So I mention my disappointment and move on.
